Meet the Maker
My love for flowers began at a very young age. As a child, I loved to sit in our big picture window and watch my grandmother tend her large flower garden that was between our 2 houses. Through my teenage years, I worked on a flower farm and my connection to nature and love for flowers continued to grow.
As an adult, gardening has played a big role in managing my mental health. That connection with nature became my therapy. When 2020 came, this took on a whole other meaning. As things began to shut down, and my day job was no longer an option, I started looking for new hobbies that I could do at home. I had been a licensed nail technician for almost 20 years so working with resin and acrylic was something I was very used to. I thought I would give this a try with some pressed flowers I had saved and I immediately fell in love.
As the year went on, my hobby grew into more than I ever thought it would. I never dreamed that I would have a website to sell my jewelry and actually see people out on the street wearing my designs. Being able to create such meaningful pieces has brought so much fulfillment and joy into my daily life. I hope that my pieces inspire you when you wear them and bring that same joy into your life.
